Create a New Model in Minutes

This quickstart follows the current in-app flow at https://docs.veydra.io and shows how to create a model from the New Model page.

Step 1: Open the New Model Page

Use either path:

• Click the plus button in the top navigation.
• Go directly to https://docs.veydra.io/quickstart for this guide and then open /model/new in the app.

Step 2: Start from a Template or a Prompt

On /model/new, you can:

• Select a starter tile for common system patterns.
• Enter your own system description in the text box.

Use clear language about the system boundary, key variables, and the behavior you want to test.

Step 3: Add Optional Supplemental Files

In the dotted upload area you can drag-and-drop or browse files to improve generation quality. Common attachments:

• XMILE model files
• PDFs with assumptions or equations
• CSV/XLSX datasets

Step 4: Generate the Model

Click submit to start model creation. Veydra will:

• Create a new model (and project when needed)
• Upload your supplemental files
• Open the auto-generate flow

​

Step 5: Review and Refine

After generation, continue in these pages:

• Model settings page (/model/:id/edit) to refine metadata, repository settings, files, and activities
• Playground (/model/:id/:mode) to run simulations and test behavior
